Holly Hughes Custom Jewelry

I fell in love with Holly Hughes Jewelry. I purchased one of her lovely jewelry creations at the UPS store in Arroyo Grande. The one I bought has a lovely dragonfly silver charm on the end toggle and has beautiful flat pearls and mint green and white stones.  Her work is just lovely and is perfect for wearing with a beach or casual outfit.

Lipstick Rose, is  Ralf Schwieger's vision of glamorized femininity. It is a Frederic Malle parfum that combines scents of rose and violet, musk, vanilla, vetiver, and amber. It was created by Ralf Schwieger in 2000. It is beautiful.

Our friend Jonathan Addy from Barneys NY SF turned us onto good perfumes. He is the man to go to when purchasing a new perfume. I like to participate in Barneys Beauty Event Goody Bag and purchased some Frederic Malle Mini parfums. I started my adventure with Edward Flechier's Une Rose. It is a serious and I mean serious rose roller coaster ride. I photograph roses and have been in rose gardens for hours and tonight I have no camera, just my mini bottle of Une Rose. This has to be the PhD of rose scents.

    I love Andre's street art. I think the guy is a genius. Andre Saraiva known as Mr. A. became famous making street art in Paris. You can buy one of his Levi's Trucker jackets at the MOCA in LA.  Andre has designed hotels rooms for Hotel Amour in Paris. The rooms are over the top Andre.

Go to the Mission District to see the Street Art. I recommend Graffiti Lives Beyond the Tag in New York's Urban Underground by Gregory J. Snyder. It will educate you about the world of  contemporary graffiti culture.

B Wise

B Wise School Supply  in Arroyo Grande is having a great sale. They are closing after many years of helping me shop for my relatives, friends, and OT Dept at Arroyo Grande Care Center.  Karen, the owner, is an educator who has owned the successful business for many years. Donna, who also works at B Wise, has helped me select the best educational item for kids. I will miss shopping at B Wise. I am tickled that Karen will have an online store that I will continue to support.  Her store will be missed by many. The giant learn to dress kitty will be used for fine motor OT activities in Rehab at AGCC. The Kitty has a gone to a great home on the Central Coast.
