Honey Bees

I have a new Spring Palette by Chantecaille. 5% of proceeds from the Save The Bees Palette will be donated to help protect the bees and our environment. Ryan Bustos from Neiman Marcus taught me to combine the golden highlighter with the skiy blue and sweep this across my lid. I finish with the grey color as a shader at the edge of my eye. I end with a touch of the warm coral blush for a fresh look. Thank you Ryan.

Gucci Vintage

A friend of mine owns this amazing vintage Gucci. She and her mom share the bag. I picked it up and coveted the beautiful  traditional black Gucci print. The silver G for a handle is amazing. I moved the top zipper and almost fainted with how easily it flowed down the main compartment. A true relic. A lucky girl.

Mountain Hat

      

Pharrell has guts. He wears a Vivenne Westwood  Mountain Hat or Buffalo Hat and makes it so popular that the company is having a hard time keeping them stocked. I am partial to her voyager hats. I love her style and love the colors. Too damn bad I have such a big head.

Dallas Buyers Club

OMG. We started watching this film last night. The acting of Mathew McConaughey and Jared Leto is amazing.  The story is about the brave journey of Ron Woodroof, a Texas Electrician, who was diagnosed with HIV in '86 and devoted his life to providing fellow patients with non FDA approved drugs and supplements.  I lived in the Dallas area in the early 80s and the film took me back to my Dallas days. Do not miss this film . The story is compelling and the acting is worth seeing again. I want to see this one a second and third time. Do not miss the Dallas Buyers Club.
