What Happened in Deadwater

How The West Was Really Won is a great two-act comedy set in the mining town of Deadwater. It was written by Arnie Carlos and directed by Eric Hoit with the music direction of Sarah Wasson. I loved the twisted card game, the crazy trial, the stand off that turned into a nasty pillow fight with entertaining saloon and pop songs. The actors are captivating. The totally awesome 80's vaudeville revue was fun. Go out to Oceano and see some hard working, passionate actors sing and dance their hearts out. The show runs until Sept 21. The Melodrama in Oceano hires professional actors from around the US.

Cologne Bigarade

image                             image

Today I treated myself with Jean Claude Ellena's Cologne Bigarade by Frederic Malle. It is a refreshing burst of bitter orange with cedar, rose, and woody notes. The coffrets collection by Frederic Malle have been a Holland Household Treasure. Cologne Bigarade has rich, earthy notes that radiate as one moves through her Sunday. To say a perfum is more girl than boy is limiting. Wear what you enjoy. Life is short.

Summer Solstice Santa Barbara

I love Summer Solstice. The day is long.  Santa Barbara has one of the greatest parades to celebrate this festive day. The Summer Solstice Pararade is a people powered parade. It is a day to have fun and  celebrate the longest day of the year.  Happy Summer Solstice.

Serious Sports Fans

This week we are celebrating CNA week. We dressed in our favorite sports attire. Foster and Jun-Jun are modeling their faves. It is fun to work with fun, spirited, and caring people.  Arroyo Grande Care Center has spirit. I am proud to be a part of the all star team. Thanks to Chrie for taking our # 1 team pics.

Love her Outfit

Angelita has style. I love how she pairs black flats with denim skinny jeans and ends on an octopus necklace note. She knows how to dress and has an eye for style. I love her style. Black flats and skinny jeans are a great duo.

Discovering the Orange in En Passant

image

I am in love with my Barneys Frederic Malle En Passant scent by Olivia Giacometti. It was her master perfumer skills that gave us this amazing scent. Olivia knew she wanted to be a perfumer since the young age of 10.  Today I discovered the hint of Orange leaves  in En Passant and I am in Heaven.
