This is the artistic creation of Kenny Scharf an artist featured in the ART IN THE STREETS show at the Geffen. My brother-in-law Larry would dig this car. Kenny was born 2 years before this car was born. Kenny worked his magic by painting the car and turned it into this dream machine. In the late 1970s Kenny studied at the School of Visual Arts in NY where he was exposed to graffiti and the downtown art scene. In 1981 he was given a solo show at the FUN Gallery in New York. At that time he painted in the streets and for galleries. Kenny's stuff belongs in the FUN Gallery.
I would love to be behind the wheel of this Beauty, and that she is. Great Car!!!
